TANAY, RIZAL — In celebration of the upcoming Feast of All Saints, the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish announced its 2nd Year of the “Dress Like a Saint” activity to be held on October 26.

Registration and call time will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the parish grounds.

The event invites children and parishioners to come dressed as their favorite saints, not merely to wear costumes but to reflect on the holiness, faith, and virtues of the saints.

More than a festive gathering, the activity aims to promote the true meaning of All Saints’ Day as a Catholic celebration of faith, distinguishing it from the secular observance of Halloween.

Organizers emphasized that the celebration seeks to remind the faithful that All Saints’ Day is a time to honor the lives of those who have lived in holiness and union with God.

The activity also encourages families to teach children about the saints as real heroes of faith, whose lives inspire love, charity, and devotion.

Participants will share stories about their chosen saints and engage in creative presentations that highlight Christian virtues.

Through this initiative, the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado, continues to strengthen faith formation and promote authentic Catholic traditions, reminding everyone that sainthood is not distant but attainable through everyday acts of faith, kindness, and love.
