TANAY, RIZAL — The San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish celebrated the 14th Sacerdotal Anniversary of its Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado, with a Thanksgiving Mass held on October 15, 2025.

The celebration began with a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Delatado, joined by visiting priests from neighboring parishes. During the homily, Fr. Delatado reflected on his fourteen years in the priesthood, expressing deep gratitude to God for the grace to serve and to the community of Tanay for their constant support and prayers.

In his message, Fr. Delatado emphasized that the priesthood is not merely a position but a lifelong mission of service and compassion. He also encouraged everyone to continue being instruments of faith and unity, reminding the faithful that every vocation, whether in priesthood or lay service, is a response to God’s love and calling.

After the Mass, a simple fellowship was held at the parish grounds, where parishioners extended their well-wishes and tokens of appreciation to Fr. Delatado. Representatives from various parish ministries offered short messages and presentations, highlighting his leadership, humility, and tireless dedication to the parish community.

As the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish marked this special occasion, the faithful joined in prayer for Fr. Delatado’s continued strength and wisdom in shepherding the flock entrusted to his care. The celebration stood as a moment of thanksgiving and renewal of commitment to the Church’s mission — to serve God through service to others.
