VATICAN CITY — Pope Leo has invited bishops around the world to actively disseminate the new video widget developed by Vatican News, a digital tool designed to bring official papal content directly to local Catholic communities.

The new widget allows the websites of dioceses, parishes, associations, and Catholic organizations to freely receive and display videos and news related to the Pope and the activities of the Holy See. By integrating this tool, Church institutions can ensure that visitors to their websites—whether using computers, tablets, or smartphones—have constant access to the latest updates on the magisterium and pastoral activity of the Bishop of Rome.

According to the Vatican, the initiative aims to strengthen communion within the universal Church by making authoritative and timely information more accessible at the local level. The widget also enables users to share papal content on social media platforms in their own language, helping extend the reach of the Pope’s messages across cultures and regions.

By encouraging widespread adoption of the Vatican News video widget, Pope Leo emphasized the importance of using modern digital means to evangelize, inform, and foster unity among the faithful in an increasingly connected world.
