TANAY, RIZAL – The image of San Ildefonso de Toledo, patron saint of the parish, reached the Chapel of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Sitio Lanai, Tanay, on October 7, 2025, as part of the continuing Dalaw ni San Ildefonso pastoral visit.

The visit was led by members of the Siervo de San Ildefonso and the Legion of Mary.

The pastoral visit aimed to strengthen the faith of chapel communities and deepen devotion to the parish patron. Parishioners in Sitio Lanai warmly welcomed the visit, participating in the Holy Mass and joining the prayer activities organized for the occasion.

During the celebration, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado reminded the faithful that every pastoral visit is an opportunity to bring the Church closer to the people. “When the patron visits your community, it is Christ Himself who comes to dwell among you,” he said.

The Siervo de San Ildefonso and Legion of Mary led the prayers, hymns, and veneration of the images. The activity also included a short catechetical session on the life of San Ildefonso and the significance of Marian devotion in parish life.

The visit concluded with the blessing of the community and the image of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. The Dalaw ng San Ildefonso continues to be a vital pastoral initiative, fostering unity, prayer, and devotion among the parish’s chapel communities.
