TANAY, RIZAL – The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) – San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish, Tanay Unit successfully implemented its Trash Bin Project on October 1, 2025, as part of the Diocesan CWL initiative promoting environmental stewardship.
The initiative aimed to promote proper waste segregation and instill a sense of environmental responsibility among parishioners. Several trash bins were installed around the parish compound, each designated for biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable waste.
The activity highlighted the importance of cleanliness and orderliness in maintaining a healthy and welcoming parish environment.
CWL members worked together in preparing, labeling, and distributing the bins.
They also conducted short orientations for parish volunteers and visitors on how to properly segregate waste. Their efforts reflected the Church’s growing commitment to caring for God’s creation through practical and sustainable actions.
The project concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving and a blessing of the newly installed bins. The CWL Trash Bin Project served as a concrete expression of the parish’s mission to promote both faith and care for the environment.
