TANAY, RIZAL – The San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish held a Holy Mass at the Chapel of San Lorenzo Ruiz in Sitio Mapunso, Tanay, on September 28, 2025.

The celebration was part of the parish’s ongoing pastoral visitations and the Dalaw ng San Ildefonso de Toledo, which brings the image of the parish patron to different chapels and communities.

The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado, who expressed joy in bringing the parish’s spiritual presence to the local faithful. He emphasized that the pastoral visits are an opportunity to strengthen faith and foster unity among distant communities of the parish.

During the Mass, parishioners reflected on the life and example of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, whose faith and courage inspired many to remain steadfast in their devotion to God even in trials. Fr. Delatado highlighted the importance of living out one’s faith through daily acts of goodness and service.

The visit also served as a time of listening to the needs and concerns of the chapel community. Parish leaders engaged with local residents to discuss future pastoral programs and ways to strengthen participation in parish activities.

The celebration concluded with a blessing of the community and the image of San Ildefonso de Toledo, symbolizing the parish’s continuing mission of outreach and pastoral care for all faithful in Tanay.
