TANAY, RIZAL – The Siervo de San Ildefonso, together with San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish, organized another Night of Prayer: A Call for Peace on September 20, 2025.

The event was held inside the parish church and focused on prayers for peace, integrity, and social justice amid the challenges faced by the nation.

The prayer gathering was offered for all Filipinos affected by corruption, injustice, and natural disasters. Participants prayed especially for those who suffer from floods and calamities due to poor governance and environmental neglect. The faithful united in prayer, calling for conversion and renewal among public leaders and citizens alike.

In his message, Fr. Delatado stressed that peace cannot exist without truth and justice. He said, “As Christians, we are called to reject corruption in all its forms and to work for the common good. Prayer must move us to action for the betterment of society.”

The Siervo de San Ildefonso led the community in the rosary and songs of hope. Candles were lit as symbols of faith and the light of truth that must continue to shine in the midst of darkness. The atmosphere was one of solemnity and reflection.

The event ended with a communal prayer for national renewal. The Night of Prayer reaffirmed the Church’s mission to be a voice for peace and moral transformation, inspiring parishioners to live out their faith through integrity and compassion.
