Local leaders join parish gathering for the Jubilee Year

TANAY, RIZAL – As part of the Jubilee Year Celebration, San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish hosted a special gathering for local government officials of Tanay on August 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The event was held as an expression of gratitude for their service to the community and was attended by Barangay Captains and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons.
The highlight of the program was a Conference Talk delivered by Congressman Dino Tanjuatco, who spoke on the theme of Good Governance.He emphasized that true leadership is rooted in integrity, compassion, and accountability. He encouraged public servants to view their responsibilities as a vocation of service guided by moral principles.
The event was organized through the collaboration of the parishes of Tanay — the Parish of the Holy Cross (Bukal), Saint Jude Thaddeus Parish (Sampaloc), Holy Family Parish (Cuyambay), and San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish. This cooperation symbolized unity between the Church and the local government in their shared mission of promoting the common good.
In his message, Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado expressed his appreciation for the dedication of public servants.
He reminded them that “Service is a gift, and every servant-leader is a partner in God’s mission for His people.” His words inspired those present to continue serving with faith, sincerity, and purpose.
The gathering concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving for all government workers, followed by fellowship among participants. The event served as a meaningful celebration of leadership and faith, reminding all that good governance flourishes when it is rooted in Christian values.
