TANAY, RIZAL — The San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish in Tanay, Rizal marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the first anniversary of its official website, a pioneering digital initiative that has helped bridge faith and technology for parishioners and visitors alike.
Launched in March 2024 through the generous support and funding of Congressman Dino Tanjuatco, the website was envisioned as a modern platform to keep the faithful connected, informed, and spiritually nourished—wherever they may be.
Its official anniversary was commemorated on August 11, 2025, a date that recognized the fruits of a full year’s work in the digital apostolate.
The website, designed to be both an informative gallery and a parish bulletin board, has become an essential tool for the local Catholic community. Over the past year, it has consistently delivered timely updates on parish activities, celebrations, schedules, and important announcements. From Holy Week reflections and catechetical resources to real-time photo galleries of church events and feast days, the website has proven to be a valuable resource for both long-time parishioners and curious visitors.
The site has also played a pivotal role in promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the parish, one of the oldest in Rizal province, helping foster local tourism and religious awareness.
Through well-curated content, it has highlighted the parish’s centuries-old legacy, architecture, and devotions, drawing interest not just from locals but also from national and even international visitors.
Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado, the parish priest of San Ildefonso de Toledo, expressed his gratitude during the simple but meaningful anniversary celebration held after Sunday Mass.
“This is more than just a website. It’s a digital home for our parish community—a space where we can continue our mission of evangelization, even beyond the church walls,” he said.
Looking ahead, the parish plans to expand the site’s features by introducing livestream Masses, interactive liturgical calendars, and digital devotional booklets to further enhance online participation.
As it enters its second year, the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish website remains a beacon of innovation, unity, and faith in the digital era—proof that the mission of the Church continues, both offline and online.
