TANAY, RIZAL As part of the Jubilee Year 2025 celebrations, a Jubilee for the Sick, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and Health Care Workers was held on April 5, 2025, at San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish.

The gathering included a lecture and catechism session titled “The Only Healings Accepted by the Roman Catholic Church”, conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The activity aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of how the Church approaches physical and spiritual healing in light of Catholic teaching and sacramental life.

Participants from several vicariates attended the event in Tanay, including those from the Vicariate of San Ildefonso de Toledo, St. Jerome, Sta. Ursula, and Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. Simultaneously, the other vicariates in the Diocese participated in a parallel event held at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Marikina City.

The celebration recognized and honored those who live with illness and disability, as well as the health care workers who serve them.

It was also a time of prayer and learning, in keeping with the spiritual focus of the Jubilee Year, which invites Catholics worldwide to renewal through pilgrimage, reflection, and mercy.

The parish expressed gratitude to all who participated and helped organize the event, and encouraged the faithful to continue praying for healing in families, communities, and the world.
