TANAY, RIZAL —  In a demonstration of faith and resilience, the Holy Mass at San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish proceeded today despite the severe weather conditions brought by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine on October 24.

Strong winds and heavy rain did not deter the parish community, as Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, the parish priest, led the mass for the few attendees who attended.

The storm, which has affected various regions across Luzon, prompted warnings from local authorities.

However, Fr. Delatado emphasized the importance of gathering in prayer, even during challenging circumstances.

Parishioners who attended shared their hope for safety and healing for those affected by the storm.

Local government units have been monitoring the situation closely, advising residents to stay indoors and heed safety precautions.

As the storm continues its path, many are looking to their faith and community for comfort and strength.

The community also offered special prayer for those in danger, reinforcing the message that the church remains a sanctuary, regardless of external circumstances.
