TANAY, RIZAL – San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish celebrated the completion of its 34th Parish Renewal Experience (PREX) on October 19-20, 2024.

Participants were formally recognized during the 6:30 PM Sunday mass on October 20.

The event took place at San Ildefonso College, featuring insightful discussions and a message from Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, the parish priest.

PREX, which stands for Parish Renewal Experience, aims to deepen participants’ connection to the Church and foster a sense of community.

The gathering emphasized that parishes should operate as a family rather than a “We” and “They” dynamic.

It highlighted the importance of a conversion experience centered on evangelization within the parish, with a focus on the family as the basic unit of society.

Attendees collaborated to develop guidelines for a weekend parish program to enhance their spiritual journey.

As the parish continues to renew itself, the essence of belonging and mutual love remains central to its mission.
