TANAY, RIZAL – In a dedicated effort to uphold the beauty and sanctity of the San Ildefonso de Toledo Church, a general cleaning event took place on the church on September 21, 2024.

The initiative encompassed various areas of the church, including the patio, quadrangle, interior spaces, and choir loft, ensuring a thorough cleaning of all parts.

Led by Rev. Father Ferdinand Delatado, the parish priest, the cleaning effort involved the active participation of the officers of the Parish Pastoral Council and local parishioners.

This collaborative approach underscored the community’s commitment to maintaining their spiritual home.

Maintaining the cleanliness of a church is essential not only for aesthetic reasons but also for fostering a welcoming environment for worship and community gatherings.

A clean church reflects the values of respect and reverence for the sacred space, encouraging congregants to engage more deeply in their faith and community activities.

Some parishioners also participated in this important effort, reinforcing the notion that a well-kept church is a shared responsibility that enhances the overall worship experience and strengthens community bonds.
