TANAY, RIZAL – To strengthen the spiritual foundation of its catechists, San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish, led by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, conducted a formation activity dedicated to the spiritual preparation of catechists at the Chapel of Peace and Grace, Tanay, Rizal on August 15.

The event aimed to emphasize the vital role catechists play in educating and nurturing the faith of both children and adults within the community.

According to Fr. Delatado, the initiative emphasizes the importance of community and fellowship among catechists in which support groups and spiritual retreats are integral to the program, fostering mutual encouragement and rejuvenation.

The parish is optimistic that this renewed focus on spiritual preparation will not only enhance the personal faith of catechists but also enrich the entire faith community.

“By empowering our catechists spiritually, we are investing in the future of our Church and ensuring that our teachings are rooted in deep and authentic faith,” Fr. Delatado said.

The parish remains dedicated to supporting its catechists, to nurture a vibrant and spiritually enriched community.
