TANAY, RIZAL – San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish in Tanay, Rizal, held the Lakbay Dasal at Kultura 2025 on March 8, 2025, a traditional Visita Iglesia combined with cultural tours in the Diocese of Balanga, Bataan.

The event was led by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, accompanied by church workers, parishioners, and ministries.

The pilgrimage began early in the morning as participants traveled from Tanay to Bataan, visiting several churches within the diocese.

The Visita Iglesia is a religious practice where participants pray the Stations of the Cross at different churches, reflecting on the Passion of Christ.

The highlight of the event was the Holy Mass held at the Diocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy Monte de Piedad in Abucay, Bataan, with Rev. Fr. Delatado presiding over the liturgy.

In addition to the religious activities, the event also included cultural tours around Bataan.

Participants explored various historical sites and landmarks in the province, offering a deeper connection to the local heritage and culture.

The Lakbay Dasal at Kultura 2025 was designed to provide both spiritual enrichment and cultural awareness, offering participants an opportunity to reflect on their faith while learning about the history and traditions of Bataan.

The pilgrimage concluded with participants returning to Tanay, marking the successful observance of this annual tradition, which is expected to continue in the coming years.
