TANAY, RIZAL– The San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish is gearing up for its annual Flores de Mayo celebration as it releases the series of activities planned throughout May to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Flores de Mayo, or “Flowers of May,” is a month-long celebration that features daily prayers, floral offerings, and culminates in the traditional Santacruzan—a reenactment of Queen Helena’s search for the True Cross. This year’s festivities will include:

– May 1: Opening Salvo and Marian Talk
– May 12: Grand Santacruzan and Flores de Mayo Procession
– May 18: Grand Marian Procession
– May 31: Culminating Activity and Living Rosary

Engr. Rowan George T. Del Rosario will serve as Hermano Mayor, with Atty. Mara Clara M. Estrella acting as Hermana Mayor, leading the community through these spiritually enriching events.

The parish encourages all residents and visitors to take part in these activities, which promise to strengthen faith and foster a sense of community.

Daily prayers and holy rosary will be held also to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, the star of the month-long celebration.

For more information about the Flores de Mayo activities, community members can contact the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish office. This May, the parish looks forward to celebrating together, honoring Mary, and embracing the spirit of unity and devotion that defines this special month.
