TANAY, RIZAL – In response to the escalating flood situation caused by Tropical Storm Enteng, the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish in Tanay, Rizal, has opened its parish patio for emergency parking and evacuation.

The decision comes as the town grapples with continuous heavy rainfall and rising floodwaters.

Residents have faced relentless downpours overnight, resulting in the Tanay River surpassing its normal levels and spilling into adjacent areas.

The overflow has caused significant flooding, prompting local authorities to seek immediate refuge for those displaced by the storm.

The parish’s initiative aims to provide temporary shelter and safety for affected families as the situation continues to develop.

Community members are encouraged to offer support through donations of relief goods and to keep those impacted by the disaster in their thoughts and prayers.

Efforts are ongoing to assess the full extent of the damage and to coordinate further assistance for the flood-affected areas.

Local officials are working diligently to manage the crisis and ensure that residents have access to necessary resources and support during this challenging time.
