NASUGBU, BATANGAS– Ministry heads of the various ministries and organizations of the parish gathered for an intensive planning and team-building retreat at Ephesus House, Sandari Batulao on August 25-26, 2024.
The program was organized to foster collaboration, assess progress, and strategize for the next three years of the parish community.
The planning saw participation from key groups including the Worship, Evangelization, Social Action Services, Temporalities, Vocation, Family Life Affair, Media, Historical, Cultural, and Heritage Commission, Basic Ecclesial Community, Parish Finance Council, and the Parish Pastoral Council.
On the first day, attendees engaged in the presentation of accomplishment reports from the heads of each ministry, followed by discussions on future projects and goals.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of the parish’s recent achievements and set the stage for future initiatives.
The second day was dedicated to revisiting the parish’s Mission, Vision, and Goals (MVG) through a series of interactive activities and group work.
Financial forms and other administrative aspects were also reviewed, ensuring transparency and effective management.
The retreat concluded with short team-building exercises designed to enhance collaboration and unity among the various parish groups.
Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, the parish priest, emphasized the importance of the event in his closing remarks. “This planning is more than just a series of meetings; it’s a vital opportunity for us to come together as a unified community,” Fr. Delatado said.
“By reflecting on our accomplishments and focusing on our shared vision, we strengthen our mission to serve and support each other. This collective effort is crucial for our growth and effectiveness as a parish,” he added.
