TANAY, RIZAL – In a heartfelt conclusion to the Season of Creation, the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish hosted a special event to bless pets and provide free anti-rabies vaccinations held in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and World Animal Day on October 4.

The event, sponsored by the Parish Migrant Ministry and Kaibigan Ko Worldwide Inc., took place in the parish patio, where pets of all shapes and sizes were welcomed.

Attendees participated in the pet blessing ceremony, emphasizing the importance of compassion and stewardship towards animals.

“This gathering reinforces our commitment to caring for all of God’s creations,” said Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, parish priest.

The free vaccinations aimed to promote animal health and safety, aligning with the parish’s mission to support both pets and their owners.

Local veterinarians volunteered their time and expertise, ensuring that pets received the necessary care.

The parish community looks forward to continuing its mission of love and care for all living beings.
