TANAY, RIZAL – San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish in Tanay, Rizal conducted Thanksgiving Mass and planting of Tipolo Tree on March 23, 2025, to recognize the service of all church workers.

The celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, parish priest, together with priests from the Diocese of Antipolo. The activity started with the Thanksgiving Mass offered for the church workers.

During the mass, Fr. Delatado also gave thanks for his 42nd birthday. Priests from nearby parishes joined the celebration as concelebrants.

After the mass, the parish proceeded with the ceremonial planting of the Jubilee Tipolo tree within the parish grounds.

The Tipolo seedling was given during the opening of the Diocesan Jubilee celebration held at Antipolo Cathedral last December.

The tree planting was followed by a fellowship dinner attended by the priests and church workers.

On the day before, the Diocese of Antipolo also held a Diocesan Lenten Recollection at Ynares Center 2 in Montalban, Rizal.

Parish representatives attended the recollection, which served as spiritual preparation for the Lenten season. Participants from various parishes across the diocese joined the event.

The series of activities aimed to strengthen the unity of the church community and prepare spiritually for the upcoming liturgical observances.
