TANAY, RIZAL – The clergy of the Archdiocese of Davao, led by Archbishop Romulo Valles, DD, paid a visit to the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish in Tanay, Rizal, today, November 8, 2024.

The visit was warmly welcomed by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, parish priest,  local churchgoers and ministry members, marking an important moment for both the religious and cultural life of the region.

The visit was part of the visit of the clergy in the Diocese of Antipolo.

The occasion was particularly special as it coincided with the opening of the annual Tanay Hane Festival, a vibrant celebration that highlights the town’s rich tourism, culture, and local traditions.

The festival, which draws visitors from all over the region, showcases the beauty of Tanay’s landscapes, indigenous arts, and the deep sense of community shared by its residents.

In addition to the religious visit and festival opening, another highlight of the day was the Opening of the Tanay Products Exhibit.

The exhibit features a wide array of locally made products, from artisanal crafts to agricultural goods, providing a platform for local businesses to promote their unique offerings.

This event not only highlights the talents of Tanay’s people but also serves as a way to support the local economy and preserve the town’s cultural identity.
