1st batch of ‘Panata’ card donors honored during 1st Sunday of Advent

TANAY, RIZAL – San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish, Tanay, Rizal celebrated a significant milestone as it recognize the first batch of donors-completers of the Panata Card: Ating Simbahan, Ating Pangalagaan Year 2 project on December 1.

Launched on October 10, 2024, this initiative was created to rally parishioners’ support for the church’s upkeep and programs.

This year’s campaign coincides with preparations for the parish’s historic 418th Foundation Anniversary, which was celebrated on November 12, 2025.

Participants in the project committed to a contribution of ₱418 per month for 12 months, with an option to pay in a lump sum.

During the 6:00 AM Mass on the First Sunday of Advent, donors given blessing by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado, parish priest.

Fr. Delatado expressed gratitude for the donors’ unwavering support, stating, “Your contributions are not just financial; they represent a commitment to preserving our shared heritage and ensuring that our church continues to be a beacon of faith for generations to come.”

As a token of appreciation for their generosity, each donor received an image of San Ildefonso and a book authored by the saint himself.

The Panata Card initiative has seen strong participation from the parish community, highlighting the enduring devotion to San Ildefonso and the parish’s rich history.

Plans are underway to further engage more parishioners as the project continues toward its goal of enhancing the church’s mission and infrastructure.
