Barangay Pinagkamaligan leads 6th Monthly Devotion to San Ildefonso

TANAY, RIZAL –  Barangay Pinagkamaligan, Tanay, Rizal leads the 6th monthly devotion to the patron saint of the town, San Ildefonso, also known as the “Buwanang Pamimintuho kay San Ildefonso” on September 23, 2024.

This tradition, observed on the 23rd of each month, aims to deepen the community’s connection to San Ildefonso, a saint known for his life and virtues.

The event began with a rosary led by setting a reflective tone for the day.

Following the prayers, attendees listened to a recounting of San Ildefonso’s journey, highlighting his dedication to faith.

Community members then shared testimonials about their experiences and miracles attributed to the saint’s intercession, reinforcing belief in his presence.

The holy mass was then presided by Rev. Fr. Ruel Cunanan.

The celebration included processions that brought together parishioners, barangay officials, and residents.

These processions celebrated their faith and encouraged the participation of neighboring barangays, inviting them to join in this journey of devotion.

Officials from Barangay Pinagkamaligan expressed support for the event, recognizing its importance in fostering community spirit and shared values.

This monthly observance serves as an opportunity for the community to grow closer to San Ildefonso and to one another, reinforcing the bonds of faith that unite them in their journey.
