TANAY, RIZAL – In a heartwarming tribute to long-standing dedication, San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish honored 78 church workers from various ministries who have served the parish for over 25 years.

The recognition took place during the Feast of Sto. Niño, celebrated earlier this week, with certificates awarded to the deserving individuals as a grateful acknowledgment of their invaluable contributions to the church’s mission.

The parish has long been a center of spiritual life and community activity in Tanay, and the service of these dedicated workers has played an integral role in the fulfillment of the parish’s mission.

These individuals, who have served in various capacities across the church’s ministries and activities, have demonstrated unwavering commitment, selflessness, and faithfulness to their roles.

Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, parish priest of San Ildefonso de Toledo, expressed profound appreciation for the church workers during the ceremony, emphasizing their vital role in the church’s spiritual and communal life.

“These church workers are the heart of our parish. Their service, over decades, has made a tremendous impact in the lives of many. Their dedication is an inspiration to us all,” he said.

As a further mark of gratitude, the parish will hold a special tribute dinner for these service awardees on January 22. This intimate celebration will also include the participation of balikbayans (Filipinos returning from abroad), adding a festive and heartfelt element to the recognition.

The dinner provides an opportunity for parishioners and visiting balikbayans to come together and express their thanks to those who have dedicated so much of their time and energy to serving the church.

The parish looks forward to continuing its mission with the support of these longstanding church workers, whose faith and devotion remain a beacon for the entire community.
